Matthew Aitken

Sunday, 15 April 2018 11:47

Club officials were delighted to receive the news late last night that Matthew Aitken’s injuries were not quite as bad as may have first been feared after he was stretchered off early in the second half in yesterday’s game with Alloa Athletic.
After lengthy treatment from Club Doctor Jane Crawford at Station Park he was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital.
Thankfully however there are no broken bones, though the young striker who was also suffering from concussion was kept in overnight for observations purposes.
Hopefully he will be released today and all at Station Park hope for a full and speedy recovery.
Our thought also go out to our former player Ousman See who it would appear from reports suffered a horrendous leg break playing for Berwick Rangers at Montrose yesterday.
The game was held up for over 45 minutes awaiting the arrival of an ambulance and we can only wish Ousman well in what could be a lengthy spell on the sidelines and trust he will make a full recovery.
