Forfar Athletic completed their pre-season fixtures with a three goals to one victory away to Lochore Welfare.
In a match played on a challenging surface for both sides the Loons took the lead in the first half when Swankie fired into the net from the edge of the box. Fotheringham then made it two nil when he slid in to convert a Kader cross from the right.
The home size had a chance to pull a goal back when they were awarded a penalty for handball. Ex-Loon and Lochore manager Kevin Fotheringham stepped up, but his weak penalty was saved by David Scott in the Forfar goal who had taken over the second half goalkeeping duties from Derek Soutar. However, Fotheringham was not to be denied and he smashed home loose ball from just inside the box to pull a goal back for the home side.
In the final minute the Loons made it three one when King played a neat ball through the inside channel for Swankie to run in on and slide past the advancing home keeper.
