Children under the age of 16 will only be allowed access if accompanied by a paying adult.
However, FAFC season ticket holders under the age of 16 will be admitted unaccompanied, upon presentation of their valid season ticket and payment if 12/15 years of age of the appropriate admission charge.
The 1984 Lounge situated at the west end of the main stand will be open to all supporters from 12.30 p.m. till kick-off and on the final whistle this Saturday till approximately 7 p.m. (The first half of the Slovenia v Scotland match will be shown on the big screen from 2 p.m.)
The Refreshment Kiosk and Club Shop, both situated within the Stadium, will be open as usual
Summary – The ‘Loons’ play the second of a trio of home games in quick succession in the KDM Trophy when Dundee United’s talented youngsters provide the opposition on Saturday first.
Following the 2-0 defeat to Peterhead, despite a gutsy performance from the home side, it will be an uphill struggle to qualify for the Athies, with in all probability a minimum of three wins from the three remaining matches required.
Jim Weir’s selection problems for the tie will again continue with four of the youngsters currently on loan involved with their parent clubs in this tournament.
The manager, though, was delighted that Ross MacLean made a return to first-team action on Tuesday, while Jim is hopeful that Matty Allan and Adam Livingstone may get some game time either on Saturday afternoon or Tuesday evening.
United’s ‘B’ side have one victory to their name to date in the competition, a 3-2 success at Formartine, a 1-0 defeat the end product of their visit to Edinburgh City on Tuesday past.
Hopefully the fixture will draw a slightly bigger attendance than has been the case at midweek matches in the competition to date this season, with the match taking place on a Saturday slot rather than a midweek evening and with the opponents being locally based.
The referee on Saturday is Josh Hay.
Match Day Hospitality – Forfar Athletic officials are delighted to welcome two parties to the Hospitality Complex for Saturday’s game.
A group from the Forfar Ammies FC will be in attendance along with Laura Simpson, mother of our youthful custodian Theo and a group of friends from the Granite City.
