Forfar Athletic v Elgin City  – Match Information

The ‘Loons’ will contest their first home William Hill League 2 game since mid-September, and, as it turns out, their only game their own ‘backyard’ in October month when Elgin City are the visitors on Saturday first to the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park.

The visitors will no doubt travel south in a confident mood following a six-goal second-half blitz in Morayshire on Saturday, which had Clyde top of the table prior to kick-off reeling.

As for Jim Weir’s ‘troops’, they will still be ‘licking their wounds’ after losing 2-1 at Dumbarton, this despite dominating the proceedings for large parts of the ninety minutes.

Those results on Saturday past saw Elgin move into third place in the league table at the end of the first quarter, the Athies three points adrift and down in seventh position.

However, hopes will still be high in the ‘Loons’ camp that a fourth home win from five league outings to date can be achieved against Stefan Laird’s side.

Admission arrangements and pricing for Saturday’s contest, which has the usual 3 p.m. kick-off, are as follows –

David McGregor Stand – Adults £18, concessions (65 & over/16/18year olds) £14, under 16’s £5
Terracing  – Adults £16, concessions (as above ) £12, under 16’s £5
