A reminder to Forfar Athletic supporters that the ‘Loons’ return to KDM Evolution Trophy group stage action on Tuesday evening of next week, the 25th of the month when we welcome Highland League side Formartine United to the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park.
The home side will be keen to record a victory, following their defeat to a youthful Aberdeen side in their opening fixture.
However Jim Weir will almost certainly be giving serious consideration to squad rotation for the fixture, especially with a William Hill League2 outing in the Capital City due just 72 hours later.
Unlike Forfar, Formartine recorded a comprehensive 4-1 success over Dundee’s youngsters in their debut as one of four Highland League sides in the tournament this season
As with last season the top twenty-two teams will qualify from the first stage, eighteen sides biting the dust as against only eight last time round, due to ten non league outfits being invited to the ‘party’ as a new innovation.
Reduced admission prices for the ‘Loons’ home fixtures in the tournament have been pegged at last season’s prices.
Adult Admission for both stand and terracing will be £10.
Concessions on the is occasion being those 65&over and 12/17 year olds will be £5.
Under 12’s will be admitted free of charge throughout the competition.
Entry on the night will be by CASH PAYMENT only at the turnstiles.
Forfar Athletic season tickets are not valid for fixtures in the KDM Trophy.
Kick-off is as usual at 7.45p.m.
