Forfar Athletic v Stirling Albion – Match Information

Forfar Athletic v Stirling Albion

The Loons’ return to William Hill League2 match action at the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday first with Stirling Albion providing the opposition.

Jim Weir’s side have made a positive start to the league campaign with a home victory over Kelty Hearts being followed by a share of the spoils up at Elgin on Saturday past.

The ‘Binos’ began their quest for league glory with a 2-0 home win over Dumbarton before losing out by the odd goal in five at Kelty last weekend.

In midweek while the much changed Athies side went down 3-0 to the ‘Dons’ youngsters, Albion recorded a fine 4-2 success against League 1 opponents Cove Rangers at Forthbank in the KDM Trophy.

Last season the ‘Loons’ recorded three wins in their four outings against Stirling and hopefully that record can be build upon this Saturday.
