The club can confirm that Alan Shepherd has decided to step down from his role as Director and Chairman of Forfar Athletic.
Alan intimated his intentions his fellow Directors a few weeks ago and has now resigned his positions on the Board.
However, the remaining Directors are all very pleased that Alan will continue as a club official in his role as Club Secretary, within which he will continue to have a key involvement, particularly on match-days.
Loons supporters will be aware that Alan has been exceptionally supportive to the Club over the years, being one of our very first hospitality hosts, long before first becoming a Director over 15-years ago! All at FAFC are delighted that Alan will continue to have key involvement with the Club and will continue to be a regular presence, both home and away, on match-days.
Everyone at the Club extends their sincere thanks to Alan, not only for his years of dedication to FAFC, but also for his valued ongoing contribution as Secretary.
