Clubs in the fourth tier of the SPFL return to William Hill League 2 action on Saturday, and for Forfar Athletic that entails a trip to Dumbarton.
The ‘Sons’ like the ‘Loons’ recorded a home victory in their last league outing on match day eight before KDM Trophy ties took centre stage, defeating Spartans 3-0 to move on to the nine-point mark, two points adrift of Jim Weir’s side.
The Athies picked up four points from their two visits to the re-named The Rock sponsored by Marbill Coaches last season and will be keen this weekend to keep that run going.
Admission prices at Dumbarton are as follows:

Tickets can be purchased in advance through Fanbase, but are also available from the ticket window at the ground on a match day from 1.30p.m.
The Community Suite within the main stand at the stadium is open to all supporters from 1.30p.m.
Important Travel Information – There are various ways of making your way from Tayside to Dumbarton; many choose the A811 route from Stirling via Balloch. However, for those who prefer to travel via Glasgow, please note the Erskine Bridge is closed on Saturday northwards towards Dumbarton, Helensburgh etc. from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The alternative route is through the Clyde Tunnel and out the Great Western Road, but please allow a wee bit extra time for your journey.
