Children under the age of 16 will only be allowed access if accompanied by a paying adult.
However, FAFC season ticket holders under the age of 16 will be admitted unaccompanied, upon presentation of their valid season ticket and payment if 12/15 years of age of the appropriate admission charge.
The 1984 Lounge and the Club Shop will not be open at this fixture
The Refreshment Kiosk situated within the Stadium will be open as usual
Summary
The ‘Loons’ and visitors Formartine United meet at the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park on Tuesday evening in their outstanding KDM Evolution Trophy tie.
The original match was of course abandoned in the 51st minute back in late August following a penalty box collision which eventually saw Adam Livingstone head by ambulance for a couple of nights’ stay in Ninewells Hospital.
At the time, the home side led 1-0 courtesy of a goal in the early stages of the proceedings from Angus Mailer, Neil Stafford having kept that lead intact for the Athies with a first-half penalty save.
Thankfully Adam has now made a full recovery from severe concussion and in fact returned to first team duty having rigorously followed the necessary protocols as a substitute at the weekend against Dundee United ‘B’.
The ‘Loons’, though they had their struggles at times, eventually picked up their first three-point haul of the group stage in that match against the Tannadice youngsters to move on the four-point mark in the forty-club table.
Victories in their final two matches would still in all probability see them edge into the top twenty-two qualifiers for the knock-out stage.
Our visitors are almost there, it has to be said following excellent victories at North Lodge Park last week against SPFL opponents in Montrose and Edinburgh City. They will certainly arrive in Forfar in buoyant mood.
Alastair Grieve, who had to make the always difficult but without doubt correct decision to call a halt to the first attempt to play this fixture, is again the man in the middle on Tuesday evening.
In light of the circumstances surrounding the rearranged fixture, a flat reduced rate of £5 is being levied for entry, with Under 12s free of charge.
Hopefully a few supporters will make the effort to support their respective sides, despite the obvious counter attraction on the ‘box.’
