SPFL League One – Post Split Fixtures

The fixture plan for the post split fixtures has been announced this afternoon.

The ‘Loons’ of course still have a visit from Clyde to look forward to next Tuesday evening in their 18^th league fixture.

After that the league splits into two sections of five with each team playing four games, to decide the Champion Club, the one relegated outfit and the four clubs who will take part in play-off fixtures at the top and bottom end of the table.

The Athies are destined to finish in tenth place in the league at the 18 game break point,  no matter the result against the ‘Bully Wee’ next midweek, so their four match attempt at survival schedule will begin seven days later on the 27^th of April.

Their programme of four games in eight days is as follows;-

Saturday 24^th April                           Free

Thursday 29^th April                           8^th placed team                 home                    7p.m.

Saturday 1^st May                              7^th placed team                 away                     3p.m.
