Forfar Athletic v Peterhead – Match Information

Following on their sensational, there are no other words to describe it, victory over Bonnyrigg Rose, the ‘Loons’ are back in William Hill League2 action on Tuesday evening when Peterhead are the visitors to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park.

The ‘Blue Toon’ side head to Forfar on the back of a 1-0 home win over East Fife, courtesy of a Kieran Shanks ninth minute counter at the Balmoor Stadium on Saturday, this result moving them level with Dick Campbell’s side at the top end of the league table with Tuesday night’s game in hand.

The fixture was due to be played three weeks back but fell foul of the heavy rain and sleet that fell on the town that Saturday morning, unusually flooding in parts the Station Park playing surface.

Attendances usually suffer a bit for midweek games but hopefully on the back of the performances and excitement generated at the Stirling and Bonnyrigg fixtures, a reasonable turnout might be in prospect.

Supporters should note that the 1984 Lounge at the ground will be open for business from 6.30pm. till kick-off, but on this occasion will not re-open after the final whistle.

Season ticket holders with match day half-time hospitality vouchers will be accommodated as normal.

The match will have the usual midweek kick-off time of 7.45pm.

Terracing - Adults £15, concessions £10, under 17’s £5

50/50 tickets will be on sale pre-match in the 1984 Lounge and from vendors within the stadium.

The Refreshment Kiosk and Club Shop both situated within the ground will be open as usual.
