Forfar Athletic v Stirling Albion – Match Information
[Wednesday, 25 December 2024 00:01]
Stirling Albion are the final visitors of the calendar year to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday first.
The sides will go head to head with memories of their titanic battle in the Scottish Cup just four weeks back still fresh in the minds of all who were in attendance that afternoon.
Albion will arrive in Forfar in fifth place in the league table following a 1-1 draw at Forthbank on Saturday past against Stranraer, the ‘Binos’ equaliser coming deep into added time courtesy of Josh Kerr.
The ‘Loons’ unbeaten run under Jim Weir’s stewardship came to an end at New Douglas Park, Clyde picking up the three vital points on offer.
It has not been the greatest year in the Athies history by some margin, but rest assured Stuart Morrison and his team mates will be keen to bounce back in style after Saturday’s setback to end 2024 on a high note.
Hopefully at a time of the year when attendances in the main usually rise a little, there will be a fair turnout of the home faithful to lend their backing once again from stand and terracing.
The match will have the usual 3pm. kick-off.
Admission prices are as follows;-
