Cove Rangers v Forfar Athletic
[Wednesday, 15 January 2025 19:25]
Only 72 hours to go before our eagerly anticipated Scottish Gas Scottish Cup fourth round tie at the Balmoral Stadium on the Granite City boundary against Cove Rangers this Saturday afternoon.
All connected with the ‘Loons’ realise that it will be no easy task against Paul Hartley’s side who currently sit in fifth position in the William Hill League1.
Jim Weir will also have to do without newcomers Craig Slater and Mackenzie Lemon who are cup tied having played for Arbroath and Lochee United in previous rounds. Russell McLean will also miss out through suspension as he received yellow cards in the victories over both Berwick Rangers and Stirling Albion, though he would have been an injury doubt into the bargain.
Admission charges for the tie have already been well documented with ticket purchase in advance, full details on the Cove Rangers website, the preferred option of the host club. Card payment at the turnstile is also acceptable on the day but there are no cash payment facilities.
Forfar Athletic supporters are more than welcome pre match in the supporters bar within the fanzone area at the ground.
A full preview of the fixture will appear on FAFC social media channels on Friday.
