Annan Athletic v Forfar Athletic – Match Information

Our opening competitive fixture in the Premier Sports Cup on Saturday first will see the ‘Loons’ head to Galabank for a clash with Annan Athletic.

Willie Gibson’s outfit finished second bottom in League1 last season, before losing out to East Fife in the play-off final, meaning that this Saturday’s fixture will be the first of a minimum five matches between the sides this season.

Annan have played three open door pre-season friendly fixtures to date with a fair smattering of trialists in their starting line-up in run outs against Queens Park, Morton and Gretna.

Normally a cash payment turnstile is available on a match day at Annan but confirmation is awaited.

The match will have the normal 3pm. kick-off.
