Forfar Athletic v The Spartans – Match Information

After two away days on cup and league duty, Forfar Athletic return to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday first for a William Hill League2 clash against The Spartans.

The Capital City club are the current league leaders opening a six point gap over second placed East Kilbride following a 2-1 victory over the Lanarkshire side at the Vanloq Community Stadium on Saturday past. At the same time the ‘Loons’ were losing 3-1 down at Stranraer, this despite a Craig Slater goal levelling up the score line with half an hour of the contest remaining.

Spartans won on both visits to the town last season with the home side failing to find the net on each occasion. Let’s hope for a change of fortune this time round.

The match on Saturday will have the usual 3pm. kick-off.

Admission prices are as follows;-

David McGregor Stand – Adults £16, concessions (14/17 year olds, 65 & over) £10, under 14’s £5

Terracing - Adults £15, concessions(as above) £10, under 14’s £5

Forfar Athletic season tickets are of course valid for this fixture.

50/50 tickets will be on sale pre-match in the 1984 Lounge and from vendors within the stadium. The Refreshment Kiosk and the Club Shop both situated within the ground will be open as usual. The 1984 Lounge will be open to supporters from 12.30pm. till kick-off and again on the final whistle till approximately 8pm.
