KDM Evolution Trophy Update
[Wednesday, 07 January 2026 16:37]

Only two of the scheduled ties in the round of sixteen in the KDM Evolution Trophy managed to beat the wintry weather on Tuesday night of this week.
Airdrieonians booked a place in the last eight of the tournament with a 3-1 home victory over Montrose, while a spot-kick converted by former ‘Loon’ Dylan Easton proved the difference at the end of the ninety minutes as Raith Rovers progressed at Starks Park against Queen of the South.
Five of the other ties were called off following mid morning pitch inspections including the ‘Loons’ clash with Queens Park at the City Stadium, while tournament favourites St. Johnstone’s home clash with Ross County was postponed with the ‘Staggies’ team coach stranded just north of Aviemore on the southbound A9 due to an accident or two.
This means that six ties will now all going well go ahead next Tuesday evening;-
Arbroath v East Fife
Ayr United v Stranraer
Partick Thistle v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Queens Park v Forfar Athletic
St. Johnstone v Ross County
Stirling Albion v Stenhousemuir
