Forfar Athletic will welcome Annan Athletic to the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday first as the first quarter of the William Hill League2 campaign beckons.
The Athies will go into the contest in slightly beleaguered mode following a five game run in competitive fixtures without a victory, culminating in a 5-1 drubbing at the hands of The Spartans in the Capital City on Saturday past.
Jim Weir will be hoping that a return to home ‘soil’ will also bring with it a return to winning ways.
In fact the match will be the first of four home fixtures in eleven days for the ‘Loons’ albeit the remaining trio of games will be in the KDM Evolution Trophy.
Annan will go into Saturday’s contest sitting a point above their opponents in the league table following a 2-0 victory at Galabank on Saturday past against Elgin City.
