MATCH PREVIEW: Dundee v Forfar Athletic - Ramsdens Cup
[Monday, 19 August 2013 15:59]

The ‘Loons’ will make the short trip to Dens Park on Tuesday night as they attempt to reach the last eight of the Ramsdens Cup. That task will be no easy one against their Championship neighbours and certainly Dick Campbell’s side know they will have to improve on Saturday’s performance at Ayr to stand any chance of success.
In the first round three weeks back, John Brown’s side clinched their second round spot with a solitary goal success over Alloa, a feat they repeated on Saturday past on league duty, while Forfar won by the odd goal in three at home to East Fife.
Dick will undoubtedly make changes from Saturday’s starting line-up with Mark McCulloch and Iain Campbell free of suspension, while Stuart Malcolm and Gavin Swankie may well have recovered fully from injuries which saw them only on the bench at Somerset Park.
A reminder that reduced admission charges of £10 for adults and £5 concessions will apply as they will for the second cup tie joust between the sides in a week’s time on that occasion in the League Cup.
Tuesday night’s fixture will be handled by Premier League official Crawford Allan.
The kick off is at 7.45 pm.
