Let there be light. (The final update)

Following extensive work renewing the ageing floodlighting system at the Park, the attached pictures show the vast improvement that has been achieved. Sufficient lighting for pitch lets and training can be obtained by utilising approximately 50% of the full system, and in fact each half of the park can be lit separately if this is all that is required.

The installation has been completed by the fitting of new safety barriers around the two main freestanding lighting towers and an improved access to the playing surface for maintenance purposes. The pictures show Forfar Athletics First Team and Under 19 Teams training in the early part of the evening under "training lights", and also later, with the full system employed.
