Forfar Athletic v Dunfermline Athletic
[Wednesday, 02 October 2013 15:57]
In answer to queries from both sets of supporters, Forfar Athletic officials would confirm that segregation will not be enforced at this Saturday’s game.
This was also the case when the ‘Pars’ visited Angus three weeks back to play our neighbours Brechin City and no problems were encountered at the Glebe.
At Station Park on Saturday all the turnstiles at the main turnstile block at the east end of the ground in Carseview Road and the turnstile at the east end of the main stand will be open at 2.15 pm.
Normal admission prices apply;-
Stand – Adults £13 concessions (65 & over and under 17’s £7)
Ground – Adults £12 Concessions £6
Forfar Athletic season ticket holders utilise voucher 9.
Obviously a larger than normal travelling support is expected and we would urge supporters of both sides to arrive at the ground as early as possible.
Car and Coach Parking in the immediate vicinity of the ground is as ever limited, but the car park in the Market Muir within easy walking distance of the ground can be utilised.
Visiting supporters should however note that the Laurie & Symington (Forfar Auction Mart) yard which was available to them for parking at the play off semi final in May is not available on Saturday.
Forfar Athletic Supporters Club members should note that their clubroom adjacent to the west end of the main stand will not be available/open for refreshments at half time on Saturday, as the premises are required by the club’s safety/stewarding team. Apologies for this inconvenience, but it will be business as normal for the Stranraer fixture on the 12th.
