Ground Improvement Update

During the close season the Club commenced working on a number of initiatives to carry out repairs to the fabric of the ground, improve fans safety and upgrade the toilet facilities.
Many of our fans may not have seen that the west wall facing the Mart has been totally cladded to protect the wall from further serious weather damage. The cladding also continues around the turnstiles at that end of the park making the whole area much more presentable and will save us a great deal of money in the long term.
Additional crush barriers have been erected along the area in front of the Stand. This not only improves the safety of fans in those areas but also allows the ground capacity to be increased for another one of the BIG GAMES we all hope for in cup competitions.
Finally, improvements to the toilet facilities are ongoing. Fans at the Ross County game were the first to use the new Ladies/Gents toilet cabin which has replaced the now demolished, outdated toilet block at the East end of the ground. A further smaller unit is in place behind the refreshment kiosk which will be allocated to fans who use the Stand. This will be plumbed and wired in within the next two weeks.
Eventually it is hoped to upgrade the old existing toilets in that area to a modern facility for stand fans, after which the new toilet cabin will be allocated to ground fans.
