Paul McManus Released

Following amicable discussions tonight between the ‘Loons’ management team and Paul McManus, the striker has agreed to terminate his contract with the club.

The Station Park outfit were the seventh Scottish senior club that the Fife based striker had plied his trade with when he was one of Dick Campbell’s pre-season signings back in July.

However he had failed to hold down a regular first team berth making only seven starting appearances, as well as coming off the substitutes bench ten times in competitive fixtures.

He moves on however with the best wishes of all at Forfar Athletic and is believed to be on the radar of a couple of other senior clubs in the area as well as a few top junior outfits.
