For the second Sunday in succession the ‘Loons’ youngsters shipped six goals , on this occasion the end result at Forthbank, Stirling, a 6-3 win for the home side.
Albion took an early lead, before Kerr Hay equalised after 14 minutes from the penalty spot. However Stirling went in at the break 4-1 up and by midway through the second period they had added a further two goals. Kerr Hay and Paul McLellan netted late and as it turned out consolation counters for the visitors.
That is a record of one draw and two defeats in their three sectional ties to date in the League Cup competition for the Station Park youngsters and if they are to have any chance of qualifying for the latter stages, a victory over East Fife in their next outing on Sunday March 2nd is a must.
That game is scheduled for Station Park with a 12 noon kick-off.
