The disappointing run of results in the SPFL League Cup for the club’s Under 19 side continued at Station Park on Sunday afternoon against East Fife.
Despite taking a two goal lead which quite frankly could have been a few more by midway through the first period, they allowed the visitors back into the contest and thanks to sloppy defensive work, by the half time interval the scores were level.
The Fifers proceeded to net the only goal of the second 45 to secure all three points courtesy of a 3-2 win.
On Sunday the 9th, the young ‘Loons’ travel to face Cowdenbeath.
