The ‘Loons’ longest serving player Martyn Fotheringham signed a one year contract extension last night which means that the only player on the books left from the pre-Dick Campbell era will be staying for an eighth consecutive season. This must make ‘Foxy’, who was signed by Jim Moffat in the summer of 2007 following his release by Cowdenbeath, one of the longest serving players out with the Premiership.
The Blairgowrie based midfield player will hope to steer clear of the injury problems next term that have restricted his appearances this season to seventeen and seven from the bench.
