Sportsmans Dinner

The club’s 19th annual Sportsmans Dinner held in the Reid Hall on Friday evening was yet again a great success.

Over 260 patrons enjoyed an excellent meal provided by Girdwood Catering which set the tone for the evening.

All three speakers, Jim Leishman, John Gahagan and Gary Marshall were first class and received the best of order throughout.

Our own Dick Campbell was in good form compering the event and rose to the occasion as ever as auctioneer, raising £6,000 from that part of the proceedings alone, late in the evening.

The Chairman and Directors would like to put on record their thanks to all who attended at a time when some other organisations are struggling to fill their venue at similar events.

A special thanks to the many companies and individuals who donated items to the auction and raffle.
