Forfarshire Cup

At the annual general meeting of the Forfarshire FA held this week, all seven member clubs resolved to take part and complete the tournament in the 2014/15 season.
The competition was put into abeyance in 2013/14, not for the first time in recent years.
The current holders are St. Johnstone who defeated Dundee United in the 2012/13 final on penalties.
The draw for the season ahead resulted;-

First round
Forfar Athletic v Brechin City
Dundee v St. Johnstone
Arbroath v Montrose
Bye – Dundee United

Semi finals
Arbroath or Montrose v Dundee United
Forfar Athletic or Brechin City v Dundee or St. Johnstone

The winner of the first semi final would be at home in the final
