Assistant Manager steps down

Dick Campbell’s right hand man, his twin brother Ian has had to end his six year tenure as Assistant Manager with the ‘Loons’ due to ever increasing business commitments.

Ian had considered this move midway through last season, but was able to continue in his important back up role. However with ever increasing demands on his time as Managing Director of his Dunfermline based Human Resources business, he has had to put his footballing commitments on the ‘back burner’ for present.

Chairman Alastair Donald paid tribute to Ian’s contribution to the club since the spring of 2008 and looks forward to welcoming him back to Station Park in the season ahead in a ‘supporter’ role.

At present Dick will not be adding any new faces to his backroom staff prior to pre-season training commencing on June 24th, relying on his current experienced coaching staff spearheaded by John Young and Barry Sellars.
