SPFL fixtures released

Forfar Athletic will amazingly begin the new season as they ended the old with a near 400 mile round trek to Stair Park to take on Stranraer following the fixture release by the SPFL this morning.

This is followed by a mouth watering home clash with Dunfermline Athletic, prior to another long jaunt south to Somerset Park.

To complete what can only be classed as an interesting first month of the campaign, newly relegated Morton visit Station Park on the 30th of the month.

The first derby of the season against Brechin City comes along on in late September at Station Park, with the Glebe Park outfit due to re-visit in the first match of 2015 on January 3rd.

A trip to Peterhead is on the cards for the Saturday between Christmas and New Year with in another twixt of the fixture ballot, Ayr United the final visitors on league business to Station Park for a second season running in early May.
