Trip to Methil in Petrofac Training Cup

For the second season running the ‘Loons’ will meet East Fife in their opening competitive fixture of the season.

This time round though it is the Fifers who were relegated to League Two following a play-off final defeat by Stirling Albion in May who will be the home team on Saturday 26th July in the first round of the newly sponsored Petrofac Training Cup.

Last July in what was then the Ramsdens Cup, the ‘Loons’ triumphed 2-1 at Station Park before bowing out in extra time in round two at Dens Park.

Ties to be played on the weekend of July 26 but Rangers v Hibernian will be rescheduled due to Glasgow 2014.
