MATCH PREVIEW: Forfar Athletic v Cove Rangers

The ‘Loons’ play their third pre-season fixture on Monday evening when they entertain Highland League Cove Rangers at Station Park.

The Allan Park club are managed by former Montrose legend and manager John Sheran who took over from Kevin Tindal midway through last season.

The club’s in fact met in a similar fixture exactly two years back up at Cove, Forfar running out 7-2 winners.

The home side go into the game on the back of a fine performance against Livingston on Thursday past, the first half performance in particular at times exceptional.

Dick Campbell may be tempted to give one or two of the younger players notably Craig Smith and Liam Keillor who have impressed off the bench to date a starting berth on Monday.

The game kicks off at 7.45 pm.

Admission charges are £5 for adults, £3 concessions.
