Orchard on board for 9th season

Forfar Athletic and main club sponsor Orchard Timber Products are to continue their partnership for an amazing ninth season.

Club Chairman Alastair Donald and Orchard Managing Director Scott McKinlay confirmed the news prior to the pre-season fixture with Dundee United on Wednesday evening.

Alastair confirmed the along with his fellow Directors he was delighted with the news that Orchard whose head office is in the town were to continue their backing and looked forward to working with Scott and his colleagues to maximise the benefits for both.

He also commented that Orchard not only act as the club’s main sponsor, but are also active supporters of many of the club’s main fund raising ventures throughout the year including in particular the Sportsman’s Dinner and the Golf Day which this year is scheduled for Forfar Golf Club on August 22nd.

Scott said that Orchard had been delighted with the television and media exposure that the company had received from the Rangers fixtures and the club’s appearance in the last sixteen of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

Despite always examining other sponsorship avenues, the company are delighted to continue to back the Station Park club and continue as one of the longest serving club sponsors in the Scottish game.

He was impressed with the quality of signings the club were currently making to boost their squad and was confident that a successful season could be on the cards for the ‘Loons.’

Club Chairman Alastair Donald paid tribute to Orchard Timber Products by thanking them for their generosity and continued support, “ I am grateful to Scott and his board for their support, it is a huge help to us financially and hope we can continue for years to come.”
