Gordon Roger

Forfar Athletic officials were shocked to learn on Wednesday of the sudden death of long serving Forfar West End official Gordon Roger.

Gordon who had a life time association with the local junior club was also the man behind the Strathmore Park side’s support since it’s inception of the ‘Loons Lottery.’

As if by clock work Gordon also dutifully turned up at Station Park each Monday night to assist Dennis, Bob and others in checking the tickets for that elusive winner.

Accordingly the Directors of Forfar Athletic would at this time wish to pass on their sympathy and condolences to Gordon’s wife and immediate family as well as all his many friends at Strathmore Park.
