Development Squad players go out on loan

Three of the club’s Development Squad will further their footballing education and hopefully gain vital game time after the ‘Loons’ agreed to farm them out till early in the New Year to the two local junior sides.

Christopher Snee joins Forfar West End , while Ben Smith and Rudi Brown will ply their trade with Forfar Albion.    

The Station Park club will still have first call on the player’s services and they will continue to be a regular part of the squad for Development League fixtures and Youth cup ties.

The current managers of both local junior sides have ‘Loons’ connections.

Daryll McKenzie the man at the helm at Strathmore Park was at one time a member of a fairly successful youth squad at Station Park, while Steven Milne, the Player-Manager who is hoping to revive the playing fortunes of the Guthrie Park outfit of course spent a memorable season on loan from Dundee in our promotion winning season back in 1999/2000.
