Mark’s mad dash was not in vain

Many ‘Loons’ supporters were surprised when defender Mark Baxter failed to appear for the second half of Saturday’s local derby with Brechin City despite playing an integral part in the efficient first half performance from the home side.

Well the secret is out.

Mark received the news as he left the field at the interval that his partner Natasha had gone into labour at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.  Thankfully Mark made it to the hospital in time to be present at the birth of their second child Harris and was delighted to also receive the news that the victory over our local rivals had been completed in his absence.
