William Hill Scottish Cup - Third Round Draw

Billy Connolly will conduct the draw for the third round of the William Hill Scottish Cup at Hampden Park on Monday the 6th of October at 2p.m.

Forfar Athletic enter the competition at this stage along with the other nine SPFL League One clubs. Six Championship sides will also be in the ‘bowl’, namely Alloa Athletic, Cowdenbeath, Dumbarton, Livingston, Raith Rovers and Rangers, as will a minimum of sixteen survivors from Saturday’s second round ties.

The third round ties are due to be played on Saturday November 1st and certainly with at present only one scheduled league fixture at Station Park that particular month, a home tie would be more than acceptable.

Incidentally the draw for the third round of the Scottish Youth Cup in which the ‘Loons’ maintain an interest will also be made at the National Stadium on Monday.
