"Pay What You Can" At Airdrie

Airdrieonians officials have been in touch this morning to confirm that they have decided to make the visit of the ‘Loons’ on Saturday week a “Pay What You Can” fixture.
Following on the lead set last season by Albion Rovers and utilised by Inverness Caledonian Thistle at their recent midweek fixture with St. Johnstone buckets will be placed at the turnstiles at New Broomfield for the televised fixture and both home and away supporters will pay whatever they wish to enter the stadium.
The buckets will remain in place till the end of the match, in case any supporter feels that the fare provided was worth more than their original ‘investment.’
Forfar Athletic had already announced that they were laying on subsidised coach travel at a cost of just £5 for their supporters.
The coach will leave the Myre Car Park at 2.30p.m., the match due to kick off at 5.30p.m.
