Football Quiz – Ross retains his title

Nineteen teams took part in a well supported Football Quiz which was voted a great success by all in the 1984 Lounge on Friday night.
Ross Graham’s ‘S’ Club 4 team retained their title though their line up of Ross himself, Brian Scott, Russell Todd and former ‘Loons’ player Scott Kopel was changed from last year’s event.
They scored 103 points out of a possible 120, Alex Archibald and his mates under the title of Quiz Akabussi in second spot five points behind.
Third place went to Stuart Fraser of Orchard Timber fame and his colleagues under the banner of ‘Jute in Wool’ with 97 points to their name.
Club officials were delighted with the response to the event and hope to possibly run a Sports Quiz in the Spring.
