The Directors, Management and Players would like to put on record their thanks for the incredible backing the team received from the away support, estimated at around 150 in number at Ochilview yesterday.
It epitomised the tremendous level of support afforded the players in recent weeks at both home and away fixtures and it is all part of that ‘team’ effort that will be required in the closing weeks of the league campaign.
That same response from the stand and terracing will be required in what is yet another vital fixture on the horizon when Airdrieonians, still in with a play-off chance come ‘knocking on the Station Park door’ this Saturday.
The attendance at our last home game with Stirling Albion saw an undoubted albeit slight increase in numbers and hopefully that will again be the case for the visit of Gary Bollan’s outfit.
