Forfar Athletic’s Station Park will be a busy place during the first weekend of May.
The ‘Loons’ will be at home on Saturday May 2nd in their final scheduled league fixture against Ayr United, then less than 24 hours later on Sunday May 3rd, the ground will host three international fixtures staged by the Scottish Clubs for Young People FA, formerly the Scottish Association of Boys Clubs.
The Scottish youngsters will meet their Welsh counterparts at Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19 levels with the first match kicking off at 11a.m., the Under 17’s at around 1p.m. and the Under 19’s around 3p.m.
Admission is a very reasonable £5 for adults, £2 concessions and this covers all three matches.
The Refreshment Kiosk within the ground will be open as will the 1984 Lounge to keep the spectators well fed and watered throughout the marathon six hour stint.
The Scottish sides are drawn from throughout the country, but there is likely to be quite a few Tayside based players in the line-ups.
