Player of the Year Awards – Triple Success for Rab

Rab Douglas cleaned up as far as the club’s Player of the Year awards were concerned winning all three by a substantial margin.

He clinched the Supporters Player of the Year Award with Gavin Swankie in the runners-up spot, Darren Dods close behind in third.

Rab was then almost a unanimous choice for the Player’s Player of the Year Award with Darren Dods and Derek Young the only other two to receive the nod from their dressing room buddies.

The Away Supporters also plumped for the big keeper, Darren Dods and Gavin Swankie switching places in the running order on this occasion.

The awards were presented at the conclusion of the Ayr United match by Supporters Club President Linda Craik and Secretary Laura Sutherland.
