Norman Kearns

Many ‘Loons’ supporters will have been saddened to learn this week of the sudden death of Norman Kearns, one of the club’s staunchest supporters and a season ticket holder for seven decades and more.

Norman passed away in Ninewells Hospital on Monday at the age of 85.

Forfar Athletic had been close to his heart throughout his life and he will certainly be missed by his fellow fans on the north terracing come July 4^th.

In his younger days, Norman had assisted behind the scenes at the club and  his undoubted passion for the Forfar Athletic never diminished throughout the years.

The sympathy of the Directors at Station Park are extended to his wife Anne, daughter Susan and son Craig who has followed in his father’s footsteps as a devoted Athies fan.
