Of The Loons
The ‘Loons’ play their second pre-season fixture when they entertain East Stirling at Station Park on Saturday.
The visitors are managed by former Athies defender Craig Tully who has former Station Park boss George Shaw as his right hand man.
Last Saturday in a game played at the Grangemouth Stadium, they lost 2-1 to a youthful Partick outfit, Shire on the day fielding a plethora of trialists.
Dick Campbell will without doubt field a fairly youthful looking side on Saturday with his pool stretched to the limit, with six certain absentees.
Rab Douglas, Martyn Fotheringham and Chris Templeman are on short breaks, while Mark Baxter, Danny Denholm and Bryan Hodge are on the injured list.
A reminder that Saturday’s fixture has a 2p.m. kick off.
Admission prices are £6 adults, £3 concessions (under 17’s & 65 & over).
Forfar Athletic season ticket holders should utilise voucher 2.
Season tickets will be on sale within the 1984 Lounge between 1.30p.m. and 2p.m. Seasonal half-time hospitality vouchers are also available.
The 1984 Lounge will be open from 1p.m. to 2p.m. and for approximately one hour after the final whistle. All supporters welcome.
