Gordon rewarded for outstanding service to ‘Loons’

The club’s former long serving Director/Treasurer Gordon Menmuir who stepped down from the Board of Directors at the end of last season was presented with Honorary Life Membership of Forfar Athletic Football Club at a short ceremony in the boardroom prior to Saturday’s game with Albion Rovers.

Chairman Alastair Donald paid tribute to Gordon’s twenty years in the role prior to the presentation of a plaque and suitably engraved crystal whisky glasses from his former colleagues.

Gordon’s wife Ann who has also been of great assistance to the club during the same period was presented with flowers to also mark the occasion.
