Golf Tournament - a great success

Twenty three teams took part in the club’s Annual Golf Tournament at Forfar Golf Club on Friday in superb conditions.

The eventual winners were the Kingennie Holdings team of Doug Bett, Brian Binnie, Scott Jarron and Donald Smith.

The course was in great order and club coffers benefited by a substantial four figure sum.

Dick Campbell was in his usual great form conducting the auction in the clubhouse in the evening, which put the cap on a great day for all concerned.

Forfar Athletic are as ever grateful to all who participated and to the many sponsors of the event and to Forfar Golf Club for their co-operation in staging the event.
