Gavin Malin moves to Links Park

‘Loons’ midfielder Gavin Malin has moved on a temporary transfer to near neighbours Montrose until early January.

The 27 year old Edinburgh based player who joined Forfar in December of 2012 after a short spell in English non-league football had made only one starting appearance for the Station Park side this term, in fact against Montrose in the Petrofac Cup.

Last season he made 13 starting appearances as well as 18 from the bench.

Hopefully Gavin will get a prolonged run in Paul Hegarty’s side in the months ahead, where his performances will no doubt be monitored by the Station Park backroom staff.
