Dick Campbell has moved to shore up his injury hit squad by signing 18 year old midfield player Scott Martin on a short term emergency loan from Hibernian.
The Scotland Under 17 and Under 19 international has made five first team appearances for the Easter Road club, scoring against Montrose in a League Cup tie earlier this season.
He goes straight into the pool for Saturday’s visit to Dunfermline.
At the same time two of the Station Park youngsters have been loaned until Christmas to local junior clubs to gain more Saturday afternoon ‘game time.’
Striker Cameron Clark has joined Forfar West End and may make his debut for the Strathmore Park side in their Scottish Junior Cup tie against Clydebank this Saturday.
Defender James Yates had been loaned to Coupar Angus and in fact made his debut for the rejuvenated Foxhall Park outfit last weekend.
The ‘Loons’ will of course still have first call on the services of both players, especially for Development League and Scottish Youth Cup fixtures.
