‘Loons’ officials have been heartened by the initial response to their quest to fill the void left by the departure of Dick Campbell following Saturday’s defeat from Cowdenbeath.
They have also been impressed by the quality and standing within the game of those who have expressed an interest in the post.
Interviews are likely to commence within the week.
In the interim first team coach Stewart Petrie assisted by Development Coach Barry Sellars will take charge of training tonight and the preparation of the team to face Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill on Saturday.
