Darren Hill returns to Station Park

Gary Bollan last night completed his first signing for the ‘Loons’ when 34 year old goalkeeper Darren Hill put pen to paper on an 18 month contract.
He will slot straight into the team for Saturday’s visit of league leaders Dunfermline Athletic, following big Rab’s disappointing decision to leave the club earlier in the week.
Darren spent two seasons at Station Park, moving from near neighbours Arbroath in the summer of 2012. In that time he made 39 first team appearances.
At the beginning of last season Darren moved to Hamilton Accies in a deal worth just short of £5k to the Station Park coffers.
His first team appearances were however limited at New Douglas Park and the two parties agreed to part company last midweek.
Darren played as a trialist on Saturday past for East Fife against Montrose and he will again be listed in the same mode this Saturday as he cannot be officially registered with the SFA until the Registration Window opens on January 2nd.
There was further good news yesterday when it was confirmed that Omar Kader will be back in the country from his business trip to New Zealand earlier than expected.
He will resume training with the club early next week.
