Sportsman’s Dinner

Just under 250 patrons attended what turned out to be a superb night at the club’s 22nd Annual Sportsman’s Dinner in the Reid Hall on Friday past.

Following an excellent meal, the company were royally entertained by a trio of great speakers in Peter Brown, Willie Young and Jimmy Carol.

All were different in their own way but all received the best of attention from the audience and they did not disappoint.

Rodger Brunton was in his usual sparkling form as the compere for the evening and the auction and raffle were well supported.

As a result a five figure sum was raised, a welcome boost to club funds.

Thanks to all who supported the final event of the season on the ever expanding fund raising calendar.
